Ubuntu Tribe Heart is a global community of people who believe “a person is a person through other people" and that we are stronger together. In a nutshell, the African philosophy of Ubuntu.
As a Tribe Heart member, you'll be part of our story, witnessing the highs and lows on the ground level of game-changing impact and community development. You'll celebrate with other members at events across the US and in Kenya. You'll proudly read stories directly from our Kenya team on the lives changed. You'll get handwritten cards and notes from the children you're raising up and out of the shadows.
YOUR DONATIONS AT WORK
Felister Wanja was one of our favorite stories of 2022. Felister joined our program in 2019 when she was just two years old. Even at the age of two, Felister suffered from severe developmental delays. When she joined us, she struggled with sitting upright and nutritional concerns such as rickets and low calcium levels. We also noticed she had limitations in motor skills, feeding, bathroom use, and communication skills. Four years later, we celebrate Felister as now she can walk, feed herself, and make meaningful relationships around her as her communication skills improve.READ MORE

Her limited knowledge of learning activities due to never attending school affected her self-esteem. Read more to see how Mary's life has changed since joining the Ubuntu Life FoundationREAD MORE
