This month, we are highlighting three of our children from ages 1 to 4 who have all come a long way since they started therapy at Ubuntu.
Serah Infrata who is nearly two years old came to Ubuntu and was diagnosed with hemiplegic cerebral palsy. She began her therapy sessions in June 2023 accompanied by her supportive mother who never lost faith. With their commitment, Serah has been able to take her first steps of walking independently.
Prosper Njenga he is a full-time therapy student with autism spectrum disorder and delayed developmental milestones. Prosper and his grandmother have been faithfully attending therapy for almost 3 years! Prosper has faced delays in milestones such as head control, crawling and eventually walking. However, after nearly three and a half years he was recently able to take his first steps on his own. Our team is now working with Prosper on speech development. We can’t wait to be along for the ride.
Geoffrey Njoroge joined our program in April 2023, diagnosed with delayed developmental milestones due to Rickets which is a condition that affects bone development.
Nutrition plays a key role in their bone development. Since coming to ubuntu, his diet has been monitored and that has helped with bone development. Since 2023, he has shown improvement in sitting, crawling, standing and is now walking independently.
Geoffrey Gitau is two years old and diagnosed with delayed developmental milestones due to Rickets. He started his therapy sessions with Ubuntu in 2023 and has achieved crawling, standing, and now walking independently.
We are incredibly proud of our patient’s improvement and are thrilled to share the impact that the Ubuntu Life Foundation has had on them.
These success stories would not be possible without your unwavering support.
